Logged out of cPanel
Are you having trouble staying logged into cPanel?

Some users may experience issues where they are repeatedly logged out of cPanel soon after logging in, or they may not be able to log in at all, even when the correct credentials are entered. This problem is often caused by using a 4G/5G mobile network or certain VPN services.
Why does this happen?
When connected to a 4G/5G network or a VPN, your device may receive a different IP address each time you reconnect, or sometimes even during the same browsing session. This process, known as IP rotation, can interfere with the cPanel login. The login system may mistakenly think that your session is being hijacked (a type of security threat called session hijacking) because the IP address keeps changing.
Common Causes:
Solutions to Fix the Issue:
- Switch to a Stable WiFi Network: If possible, connect to a trusted WiFi network. WiFi connections generally provide a more consistent, stable IP address, reducing the chances of login problems.
- Use a VPN with a Static IP: If you're using a VPN and experiencing issues, try selecting a static IP VPN (or a dedicated IP). These types of VPNs provide you with a fixed IP address, which avoids the issues caused by IP rotation. Some VPN providers offer this feature at an additional cost.
- Clear Browser Cookies and Cache: Sometimes, old cookies or cached data can cause login issues. Clear your browser’s cookies and cache, then try logging in again.
- Disable VPN Temporarily for Login: If you’re using a VPN, try disconnecting from it temporarily just for the cPanel login session. Once logged in, you can reconnect to your VPN.
If you're using a regular VPN that rotates IPs, try selecting a specific server in the VPN app that has a more stable or less frequently changing IP. Many VPNs allow you to choose a server location, and selecting a more consistent server may help reduce the issue.
The reason why changing IPs causes problems is because the cPanel may detect multiple IP changes during your login session, which can appear similar to an attack known as session hijacking. By following the above steps, you reduce the likelihood of this happening.
